My 2 month old rabbits keeps using the bedding area of the hutch as a bathroom. Is that okay?

in my hutch, there's a cage section and a bedding section. My rabbit's been pooping in the bedding area where I put her toys and such instead of the the cage area where I placed litter, food, etc. I know she is still a baby, but is this normal for the rabbit to do? or is she just being stubborn? Perhaps marking where she wants to go? Help me please?
