Well-I can see why you did not report it to insurance. Of course you still can provided you have all the details like name etc. If you do not report it then costs that occur like your air bag having to be serviced or even getting rid of the scratches if you should want to are either going to have to come out of your own pocket or you are going to have to approach the little old lady and put it to her that you have not as yet made a claim but that there is a possibility that some repairs will have to be made. What does she want to do-pay the money herself or claim on the insurance. If you leave it too long, human nature being what it is she might deny the whole thing after she has persuaded herself that it probably wasn't her fault. If you tell your insurance you have covered yourself and even if there is no claim no harm has been done. I would tell them.
