Linked genes genetic problem?

These genes are linked. If they were not, we would expect approximately equal numbers of all phenotypes. Since the numbers are not approximately equal, it means some alleles traveled together. There are 16 +14 = 30 parental phenotypes, and 14 + 5 = 19 recombinants. Since there are 19 recombinants out of 49 = 38.78% recombinants, the genes are about 39 map units apart.
