My new pet rat I bought has babies. Can I move her and them to a new cage?

I bought my pet rat last tuesday (feb 1st) , and she had her first litter on last saturday (feb 5th). She is in a small single pet cage, and I saw and copied a design for a pet cage out of a large plastic tote. I'm just wondering when it would be a good idea to move the mother and her young from the little cage to the bigger cage/tote? The babies are now officially 1 week old.
