How do i wean my baby guinea pigs?

i know that seems like a stupid question, but this is my first litter.. they will be 3 weeks in a few days.. i have a cage with a seperator in it.. should i go ahead and put them on the other side of it away from the mother? they are all males. do they still need the milk? will they cry for her?
